Abbeyfield Lodge is a modern privately owned and managed guesthouse.  All of our rooms are accessible with a wheelchair and there is a passenger lift to the first floor.  

Abbeyfield Lodge Guest House is within walking distance of Yarm which is a market town close to Stockton-on-Tees in North East England. This beautiful town is situated on the south bank of the River Tees and is historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. The bridge at Yarm marked the furthest reach of tidal flow up the River Tees until the opening, in 1995, of the Tees Barrage, which now regulates river flow above Stockton. With an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, shops and designer boutique shops nearby in Yarm, Abbeyfield Lodge Guest House is ideal for business and recreational guests.

There are excellent road and rail links South, North and West and East Coast beaches are within easy reach. Durham TeesValley airport is only 10 minutes away and Newcastle airport is within 40 minutes by road.

The area is renowned for its commercial and industrial excellence with many national and international businesses having major operations close by.

For those with recreation in mind, there are some of the most fantastic beaches within easy reach as are the North York Moors and Pennines.
